Sproobo started from a simple frustration: the tools that make servers easy to run also make them easy to lose. We're building the opposite — the convenience of a modern platform on infrastructure that stays unmistakably yours.
“An OS update broke my server at 2am.” We heard some version of that sentence one time too many — and realized the fragility was baked into how these platforms are built, not bad luck.
Native, host-coupled setups tie your apps and databases to the operating system underneath them. One unattended upgrade or one library bump, and unrelated production apps go down together. Meanwhile your logs get shipped off to someone else's cloud, your data sits in volumes you can't inspect, and the control plane wants an open port into your box.
We wanted the control panel without any of that. So we made a bet: run everything in Docker on servers the customer owns, keep the data on inspectable host paths, and let the agent only ever dial out. The result deletes an entire class of failures instead of monitoring for them.
Principles we won't trade away.
Ownership is non-negotiable
It's your server and your data. Lock-out is impossible by design, and leaving is always as simple as copying files off a machine you already own.
Honesty over polish
We label stale data as stale and show real numbers only. We'd rather tell you the truth about state than paint a reassuring dashboard.
Delete failure classes
We prefer designs that make whole categories of incident impossible over designs that merely alert you faster after they happen.
Automation on the same rails
AI should operate infrastructure through exactly the audited path a human does — never a privileged shortcut that bypasses your controls.

Sproobo is built by Codify d.o.o., an EU-based engineering company, born from years of operating the previous generation of this platform for real customer workloads — every architectural rule in Sproobo (outbound-only agent, Docker-everything, data on your disks) exists because we were the ones on call when the old way broke.
